After talking to George Barron about copper flies I remembered a pattern Rab Adam used to tie to mimic the highly successful copper Toby; the copper doggie. So decided to do a few dog nobblers including the copper version. Gluing, pinching, painting and coating is much more hassle than a bead, but it's what we used to have to do.
