Jidoor is a town from Final Fantasy VI full of rich people. You visit it on multiple occasions, but the most iconic part of it is the opera house slightly to the south of it.

Now imagine that, in order to see what’s for sale this time, you’re committed to at least thirty five seconds of skipping through text.

And now imagine that, mixed in with the item or two you’re actually trying to buy and the item or two that you could buy, but don’t really want, especially not at the prices you’d pay for them at this shop, there’s a “comedy” scene of some novelty item that a put-upon wealthy father buys for his spoiled-rotten son, which has a higher probability of turning up than the actually functional items in the rotation.

Sounds terrible, doesn’t it?
