James knows how to dance, but he's not very good at it. He also doesn't necessarily keep up with trends well enough to do the newest dances. Sure, he could show up at a hop and probably have a good time, but he's not the one everyone wants to fill their dance card with on skill alone.

James was always a good student. He didn't necessarily care about his grades, so they weren't top of the class or anything. But he did well enough to feel good about his standing, good enough to do whatever he wanted after, as long as his dreams weren't too specific. He'd always cared more, though, about the social aspects of school and his Quidditch dreams.

James has always tried to keep his physique in good shape. He's not someone who feels the need to work out all the time, but he tries to go for a run or hit the gym at least a couple times a week. Always independent. He's considered joining a casual soccer league, but who would even want him around on a team? No, the gym is fine.

James almost moved out after graduation. He considered it and even visited a few apartments and small houses to figure out his options. He never took the plunge, though. He's still living at home with his parents. Perhaps he's getting old enough that he should consider something else, but what's the point? He's well cared for at home, and since he doesn't have someone steady or any future needs for a home of his own. He's content at home. He is. Occasionally, though, he'd like his own space.

He has no idea that in another life, he associated those tulips with love because the love of his life preferred tulips to lilies or roses as she planted her garden in Godric's Hollow.

Both: There’s a lullaby James’ mom used to sing him to help him fall asleep as a child. In the real world, he sang it to Harry to help put him down. In Erised, he sometimes wakes up humming it but can’t quite remember where he learned it.

The first thing Jeremy does after passing the bar and becoming a lawyer is file a suit to get custody of his younger brothers. Its a hard and bitter battle, but he eventually wins. Tucker and Tanner move in with him the next day. 

Jai is an amazing singer but he doesn't let anyone know. His girlfriend has however overheard him sing in the shower.
