Rien ne pouvait se faire contre sa volonté. Le fait de se poser une question l’interrogea encore plus. Le doute. Il était pourtant là avant. Pouvait-il douter? Était-il avant?
   Il regarda M.. Il lui sourit. Il oublia qu’il était C., qu’il était M.. Ils n’étaient qu’1.Â
   Il sentit aussitôt que l’anomalie avait cru. Mais différemment. Pourtant la différence entre le créateur et sa création diminuait. Etait-ce finalement son amour, l’anomalie? Le problème était autre ; le problème, c’est M. M. différait les choses. C’était lui et un autre à la fois.
