Today is national Girls and Women in Sports day. 5 years ago I started playing this crazy sport called roller derby. Have you heard of it!? I've made some of my closest friends, traveled all over the states, pushed myself emotionally and physically, ended up in the ER, and came back for more. I grew up around sports as a kid and high schooler and I'm so glad I found my way back into being a competitive athlete. Strong girls become strong women.
