Thank you all for the kind words and support. I’d answer you all individually, but my mind is spacing the heck out. You know when you get super worked up and then you just? Have that crash? It’s kind of like that.

But. I love my friends. I love this community (flawed as it is), and want desperately to do what I can to make it better. That includes calling out bullshit when I see it. It’s not the most glamorous job, like at all, but I do it because somebody has got to. Sadly, it doesn’t happen enough, like. Never be afraid to stand up for what you know is right, or if you see someone being bullied or abused. Don’t stand for that shit. I understand why some people can’t, but that’s okay, because those same people I know support me in what I do. That’s honestly more than enough.

SOURCE YOUR FUCKING ARTWORK! IT’S NOT THAT HARD!

Hey, y’know, legally you’re not allowed to use any picture that you didn’t make, so states public domain, publishing, and intellectual property under article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

If icons aren’t sourced, they probably don’t have permission to use it! And saying “credit to the artist” doesn’t count and is the laziest and most disrespectful thing you can do to us. Credit to the artist? What artist? Who is the artist? Is their name ‘the artist’ because I am almost certain that ‘The Artist’ doesn’t change their style this fucking much.

“Just reverse image search it on Google!” 

K so, you want me to try and use Google to search for a cropped image, which will most likely search for the exact proportions of that cropped picture and hope to find the full picture and the artist while simultaneously filtering out all the websites with a bunch of stolen content? (cough cough, zerochan, pinterest couch couch).

If you can’t do it, chances are the people looking for the source most likely cannot either.

So! Want to find your source? Considering your art is most likely taken from a Pixiv artist you’ve never heard of who’s work has been reuploaded thousands of times on Pinterest, I got a real handy dandy site right here that will help you look for the artist!

Give their name as the bare minimum! If you’re super awesome, you should link back to the initial posts!

Or don’t use the artwork at all! Not that hard! You are not fucking entitled to use that artwork! We, as artist, have full authority to take legal action against reposts!
