My JET letter came this morning.
As expected, I didn't get an interview.
I saw it coming, so I feel okay with it. I feel at peace, in fact. :)
Thanks to everyone that has been so encouraging (especially anon -Â I assume it was just one person? - Â I hope we can chat off anon sometime!).
I still want to go to Japan though, and somehow I feel that desire coming back bit by bit. I'll get there someday, so stick around for my journey towards that. ^_^

So this is from the JETUK twitter page:
'All postal notifications regarding interview invitations for the 2015 UK JET Programmehave now been sent out to applicants.'
I just saw it, but it was posted a week ago (5th Feb).
I still have no letter.
Wow. I've emailed them about it, but a part of me wonders why I didn't see that sooner, and maybe I should have emailed them to check my address before. I might not even get notified about my success/failure. No news? That feels weirder than expecting bad news.Â
Ah! - they just replied. They're gonna check my address and resend the letter if they have it wrong or something.
I'll keep you updated.
Edit: They have the right address, and the letter has been posted. Spoke to another UK hopeful, who said she got an email but no letter. Now, I wait some more.
UK JET applicants: online/printed form differences
Hey guys, just to let you know (if you haven't noticed already), that a few of the questions on the form might look a little different when you print it off. For example, one question seemed to ask for my full middle name, when the online application asked only for my initial.
The person I spoke to at the JET Desk said little things like this are fine, but a cover letter can be written to draw attention to any discrepancies (if like me, you worry about details, or you just want to clarify anything).
