May or may not have been shipping this since Dahlia was first introduced.. but you didn't hear that from me. 🤫

Will probably be making some more art of these two at some point because they're just- AAA 🥹🥹🥹

Even from a non-shipping perspective, they just look aesthetically pleasing on screen together and are just generally entertaining when they interact with one-another.

Just some lil tidbits on why I chose their specific names and how I envision their personalities!

Bellatrix - A star that's part of Orion’s Belt (the star Rigel is also part of this constellation).

Peony - It is its own flower, but also the name of a subspecies of dahlias.

Periwinkle - Basically taken from the flower, but also the colour, due to Carmine also being the name of a colour.

Bellatrix - 5 years old. Takes after Dahlia in being a bit blunt sometimes and in struggling to express their emotions. Looks up to both parents and thinks their jobs are very cool- she wants to be just like them when she grows up. Bellatrix is naturally gifted in magic but won’t fine-tune her skills til she’s a little older. Dahlia has started doing some basic lessons with her, but it’s very early days. She doesn’t have 4 arms, but can easily use magic to produce an extra set of arms like Dahlia can. Neither of her parents expected her to be able to conjure magic so young, so it was quite a surprise the first time she showed them.

Peony - 3 years old. Quite a rebellious kid, in the peak phase of toddler tantrums and meltdowns.. Dahlia and Carme have their work cut out for them. Loves getting into mischief and HAS smuggled themselves on a mission once (Dahlia and Carme were rightfully PISSED and have since kept a much closer eye on this lil menace /silly). Also thinks their older sister, Bellatrix, is super cool and follows her around like a lost duckling. Peony has shown NO interest in magic thus far, but thinks Carmine’s arm blades are SO COOL and asks nearly every day if they have their own blades (to which answer is obviously always no).
