Looks like i definitely have more friends in Cape Town than Joburg lol. For my birthday party we booked a table of 20 at Jerry's Burger Bar. We were fashionably late and got a suspicious whatapps from nic and then carlo asking 'what table are we booked under cause there is no table for natalie. at first i thought it was a prank but then the messages started flooding in from other people i started getting worried. as it turns out they booked our table for next week :/ luckily they made a plan for us while we were milling about drinking and having fun. all my cape town connections were there it was just too awesome!. jerrys is such a cool place with the whole decor done in a sailor jerry theme with the old school tattoo imagery. the burgers were also out of this world with the most amazing onion rings everrrr. after we were done with the place (reads after they closed and we were the last souls milling about) we went to another place down the road where clara almost got into a fight with the barman for pouring us didgy drinks lol. they really didnt taste right though! we finished off the night at stones where the dj was playing rancid and some other good punk tunes i cant remember. what a joll happy birthday to me!
