Just like you
Jeff the killer x Jerk! Reader | Jeff may be a total jerk, but he is not the only one known to be mean.
CW: 18+, violence, verbal abuse, cheating, mentions of sex
It was already late into the night when you heard the front door unlock. Smelling like sweat, dirt and his usual cologne, your boyfriend stumbled upon the dark until he could switch the lights on. Jeff jumped when he saw you, surprised by you being awake this late. “Fuck! You scared the hell out of me.” He cackled, walking in your direction before reaching for your face with a soft grin. But, before he could touch you, your hand met his wrist, gripping hard and stopping him from stroking your cheek. “What’s the matter, babygirl? You mad I spent too long on my killing spree?” He laughed again, this time a bit awkwardly , but your mood clearly didn’t match his. Jeff’s expression dropped as he analysed your body language. You were sitting on the window, body tense and furrowed brows, gaze fixed on him. “We need to talk.” Fuck, he thought.
Your relationship with Jeff was complicated, to say the least. But, how couldn’t it be? He was a serial killer, crazy and full of himself. On the other hand, you were a proxy, a broken minded fucker who loved rage baiting others into trying to kill you. You didn’t get along all the time, but that’s how relationships work, right? One night you were all over each other, the whole mansion hearing his moans of pleasure and your whimpers for more. The next one you could barely stand each other, arguing so loudly the other creeps had to intervene. Most of the times, he was a total jerk. He was mean, his ego as big as it could be, and he didn’t seem to actually like you. But, as convenient as you were to him, he was to you. Jeff sometimes would get you a beer, you could cuddle in the cold and he made you cum every once in a while. Eventually, everyone just assumed you were dating, even though there was never an actual conversation about this. “Now, sweetheart? I am kind of tired, you know?” He tried to brush it off, but you were resilient. “Yes, now. I really need to take this out of my mind.” You could see it behind his eyes, the fear. She got me, she knows it, he thought.
You signalled with your head for him to sit in front of you, and he reluctantly obeyed. Your eyes ran through him as the suffocating silence grew between you. You got a cigarette from your pocket, lighting it while you stared at him. He was good looking. Hot even, you thought. You would miss his body, his warmth, his kisses all over you. But this had to be done, even if it hurt. You parted your lips to start talking, but he interrupted you. “Baby, I’m sure we can work this out.” His eyes avoided yours. “What…?” Confused, you took a drag from the cigarette. “I fucked up. I know. I am sorry. I should– Shit.” He seemed lost, not being able to correctly word himself. “You fucked up?” Even not looking at you, he could hear the smile in your voice. “Yeah… This is what you are talking about, right?” Confused, he turned to look at you. “Yes, sure.” You lied, trying to keep him talking. “I– She– She meant nothing, alright? And I only met her twice. I can kill her. I will just kill her and never see her again.” You raised one eyebrow, fighting to hold back a smirk. “Oh. You ‘cheated’ on me?” Jeff froze. Did he accidentally tell you about it when you didn’t even know it?
Jeff didn’t want to lose you. Even if he kept telling everyone else you and him were just casual, the past few months he couldn’t help but be so mesmerised by everything you did. So much he even considered stopping hooking up with random people, as they did not made him feel as good as you did. Even so, his way of treating you didn’t get any better. He was very aware of how mean he was, and was very annoyed by how you pretended not to care anymore. At first you seemed sad, but your reactions to his rudeness grew more and more apathetic. “You… You’re talking about this… Right?” You couldn’t help but smile, holding in the smoke of your cigarette for a few seconds before approaching your boyfriend and blowing it all in his face. “Yes, I suppose so.” He coughed because of the smoke as your gaze scanned him: messy hair, half unbuckled belt, hickeys where you didn’t remember placing them and no blood scent. “Were you with her just now?” You laughed softly. “Wha— Why are you laughing?” You got up, leaning in closer to him and letting your cig’s cherry get dangerously close to his lips. “How does she look like? Is she prettier than me? Does her pussy feel better than mine?” By now, Jeff was panicking. He put his hands over your chest, avoiding you getting any closer. “What the fuck, y/n?! I said I’m sorry! If you want me to walk around like a dog so you can forgive me quit it!” He hissed, angrily getting up from the window seat.
But, contradicting any of Jeff’s ideas of your possibles reactions to this situation, you laughed. Not a soft laugh, but an intense crack, tears flooding your eyes with joy. “Dude, you had to se your face!” As you recomposed yourself, he mumbled some curse words, still not understanding this whole situation. “Sorry, sorry. Jeff, I was not talking about this. In fact, I didn’t even know about your side chick. But thank you so much for telling me! Now I don’t have to feel guilty anymore.” He was dumbfounded, open mouth and all. “Guilty…? What are you talking about, then?” He screamed as you let your cigarette fall to the ground and stomped on it. “I was going to tell you that I have been seeing someone else for a while.” As he heard this, his face turned red, and his fingers curled into a fist. “You… Cheated on me?” Willingly trying to make him even madder, you put on an innocent face, turning your head slightly to the side. “Uhm… Technically no. We are not actually dating, are we? I mean, at least I didn’t think so. Plus, if you also did it, it’s an equal trade.” His left eye started twitching, his knuckles getting white from the pressure applied into his fists. “So, I give you affection, pay for your stuff and have regular sex with you… Yet I am not your boyfriend?” Your smile grew wider and you took a step towards him, placing your right hand on his chest. “I am sorry, babe. I didn’t think you would get mad. But it hasn’t been for too long, only a few months. I’ve got needs, yeah? And I don’t see him much more than you.” By now, he was dizzy with your words. “And he knows about you. He says he doesn’t mind sharing.” That was it. His breaking point. He threw himself towards you, holding you by the throat and making your back hit the wall. “Who is it? I am killing him. He is a dead man. Understand me?” Your breath started giving up as his hands hold strongly over your neck. “Agh, you’re gonna make me wet suffocating me like this. You know, I already met my other fuck buddy today but I wouldn’t mind cumming again.” His grip hardened and his jaw tightened as you smiled at him. He was freaking out, blinded by anger. How could you? “You fucking bitch. You are an asshole, you know that? You jerk!” He lets you go, walking away from you and repeating himself. “Yeah, call me all the names you want. I’m a jerk just like you.”
