Joce walking in on Mullwood LOLOL
Slipping her keys through the hole, Jocelind pushed open thedoor to her home and immediately felt it. The unexplainable twinge thatsomething wasn’t right. Her brows furrowed as her eyes darted around, scanningtheir foyer for any sign of disruption. The infinitesimal hairs on the back ofher neck stood at attention as she stepped inside, quietly closing the doorbehind her. Shifting slowly towards the kitchen, she rested the pile ofgroceries in her arms onto the counter. Jocelind then pulled her wand from itsresting place in her bag and ghosted through the different rooms—the living, dining, and bathroom were all clear of any disturbance. Her nerves piling ontop of each other, she gently tapped open the door to Oliver’s room, stickingher wand out in front of her before entering. Nothing. The young boy’s toyslaid a mess across the floor, but it was a recognizable mess. Brushing a pieceof hair from her face, Jocelind turned to check her daughter’s room next. Thiswas Olivia’s first year at Hogwarts, and so her mother had entered her room onseveral occasions now, staring at the empty space the little girl had left behind. This time, though, she stood staring at the neatly made bed not caught in the gripsof nostalgia, but with a knot in her stomach that grew by the moment. Shewondered for a brief moment if she was losing her mind, and this was merely aside effect to having no children in the house anymore.
Just as she turned to return to the kitchen, having decidedshe should just unpack the groceries, Joce heard the unmistakable sound of asoft moan coming from the one place she had yet to check. Their bedroom. In herstomach she could feel the suspense of the moment building as she headed towardthe sound, knowing that the answer to her question lay behind that door.Leaning against the handle gently, she pressed her ear to the wood just enoughto hear the soft creaking of their bed. The same sound it made when they weremaking love. Swallowing hard, her imagination ran off with images of Jeremy andhis secretary. Jeremy and Marlene. Jeremy and Calista. Endless women endlesslyrunning their hands through her husband’s hair, pressing their breasts againsthis chest and making him whimper their name.
Her heart beating rapidly now, she pushed open the dooraggressively, prepared to tear apart whoever had joined her husband in theirbed. Two familiar heads with tousled hair immediately jumped up from theirlaying positions on the dirtied mattress, chests heaving as they staredwide-eyed at a gape-mouthed Jocelind. Frozen in time, she stared at what hadjust been a tangle of sweaty, hairy limbs,a sight that she surely wouldn’t be able to forget. Her brain seemed unable tocomprehend what she was seeing, having expected a long-haired, wide-hippedwoman to have infiltrated her bed. Instead she stood before the only two menshe’d ever slept with, apparently experiencing together what she hadexperienced with each of them apart. In the chaos of her mind she almost wantedto laugh, in part with relief but also over the irony of it—her body numb, though, she remained motionless. Everyone seemed suspended in time, and thelonger Jocelind stared at their entangled bodies, the more she felt somethingrising up within her. It wasn’t the blistering anger that she expected to haveoverwhelmed her, though. Instead, she couldn’t help but feel intrigued—curious, even, to see more. To be involved.
Slowly dropping her purse to the floor, Joce beganunbuttoning her blouse in front of the two gawking men, a small smirk comingacross her lips at the looks on their faces. Peeling her top off and slippingout of her skirt, she took a step toward the bed. “Well,” she lilted, “Makeroom for me, boys.”

// Okay, first of all, I am incredibly confused as to why you felt the need to send me this. Yes, I made a post saying that I do not understand Jerelista, but that doesn't mean I wish for whoever you are to explain it to me. And now I move on...
Jerelista is AU. It was AU for a reason (i.e. because it would never happen in this universe we are rp-ing in). I really don't know how to put it in simpler terms for you. I've RPed with Sarah and her character, Jeremy, for over a year now. He is best friends with my character, Niall. And while I do not claim to know everything about Jeremy nor do I believe I understand him in all the ways that Sarah does, I do like to think I have some sort of understanding of him. And from I have observed through the NON-AU interactions with "Jerelista", Jeremy seems to just put up with Calista. Nothing more and nothing less. There is nothing romantic at all.
"With Jerelind it's very boring, and they don't really do anything for each other. That ship has a tendency to be uneventful." That right there, that proves to me that you either a) didn't come from UTNG or b) are incredibly uninformed or haven't been paying much attention. Jerelind has been through so much together; Jeremy stopped Jocelind from joining the Death Eaters, Jocelind helped Jeremy through an INCREDIBLY tough time when he thought his best mate was dead, they've grown up together, had numerous quarrels and almost-falling-outs, soft and romantic moments, etc. They've fallen in love, they have a child, and now they're going to get married. They have a stable relationship. Which, you know, is something you really ought to want. This is why I ship them. I ship Jerelind because they have a steady, unbreakable love. And they are electric because of that. The sort of electricity you are speaking of is called instability and, from my experience, is anxiety-inducing and fun for about two months before you realize how goddamn miserable you are because you have no idea where anything is going.
And here we come to the part where you speak like you know anything about these characters. Again, I do not claim that I do, but I am close with both Sarah and Emily, I've talked to them endlessly about their characters and what their characters want/need. Jeremy does not need a "hot-headed counterpart who drives him crazy". Last I checked, if anything, that is Niall. Jeremy has been thrusted into fatherhood far, far earlier than he ever expected to be and he has Joce alongside him -- the snarky and beautiful girl he grew up alongside, the woman he sees himself spending the rest of his life with, the person who is also his friend as well as partner -- to help him through. Jocelind is who Jeremy needs. As for Calista, she does not need ANY sort of person to "assert her dominance". Calista can do that with whomever she wishes. And right now, she has Wynn. Wynn is calm, professional, kind, and patient, and he loves her so unconditionally that I don't even know how to deal. He loves her crazy, her dominance, and her sharp tongue, because she is everything he is not. And after RPing with both Calista and Jeremy for over a year, I think I can tell when their characterizations are a little different and not entirely themselves. Because. It's. AU.
Overall, you can have your opinions, but I am never going to agree with them.
