Something had been said, what, she didn’t know, but it had hit Jeremy hard. If she knew what had been stated to him, or who had at least admitted it, she would have slapped them. Perhaps him not telling her anything, and simply stating that was for the best, because the rage that she was feeling bubble within her was quickly being replaced with something else. Without a moment’s hesitation, she got to her knees in front of where he sat on the couch, hands taking his gently.Â
“Jeremy...” She breathed, her voice quiet as she tried to make eye contact with him, only to fail. “I want you, because you make me a better person, a stronger person.” She began, dark brown eyes focused on how downcast he looked. “You push me to be all that I can be. You want what’s best, and you aren’t afraid to tell me how you feel. You have an amazingly big heart. I didn’t know it at first, but it’s true... When you love someone, you love them with everything in you, and I’ve never seen that before. I’ve never felt that before. It’s an overwhelming feeling, but i love you just as much, and so I want you because of all of those reasons...” She pressed a kiss to his hands, and rest her forehead against them.Â
“I want you because I am yours, and you are mine. We are one, and there’s nothing and no one that will make me think otherwise. Please, please don’t think that I could never want you.”Â
