Summary: Jensin and Basil are out on one of their nightly ventures in trying to suss out Whiteskull through the gangs of El Asilo. After ultimately failing, they move on to go sit around and wait for their next lead. In the midst of this, Basil confesses that he wants to go on a Date with Jensin, in which Jensin responds unexpectedly: there’s a lot of traumatic background that he’s left out about himself and he doesn’t know if he can have a Normal Human Relationship without getting that shit on the table. He speaks openly about his past, namely the stuff about him being a super soldier under forced employ by the government.

Characters: Jensin, Wight, Basil

Summary: Jensin recruits Basil to help him dig out locked files out of the office building at Wighthill Cemetery. After constructing a plan, they run directly into Wight outside of the office. Unexpectedly for Jensin, the two of them have history and bitterly dislike each other, but he has no choice other than leave Basil to distract Wight while he goes digging around through files. When he finds them, Basil and he leave with little to no injury (although Jensin is surprised they didn’t kill each other). Inside the files Jensin finds out some alarming things about the victims, and decides he needs to take further action. 

Characters: Gabe, Jensin (also Basil is mentioned)

Summary: Jensin shows up at the flower shop with the intention to bother Basil, but Gabe is there working instead. Jensin manages to embarrass him in every way possible (though not intentionally), and causes him to reveal his powers. Jensin thinks the whole thing is hilarious and Gabe loses two years off his lifespan.
