I used to be an anti and let me tell you, the people who say they’re unhappy and bored are right. Being an anti made me depressed, anxious, and angry at the world. Focusing on “purity” in fiction to that extent really isn’t healthy, especially when people go to the extent to attack others over it. This isn’t meant to excuse them, I just thought you might like a reason why.
This is actually extremely interesting and valid - And I can't thank you enough for sharing this. When I say my inbox is open to everyone - I mean it.
I could ramble on for hours about the sociology and psychology behind anti culture, the so called "purity police" and "cancel stan" culture, but for the sake of not boring people and keeping my blog neutral I won't 😅

Reblogging an artist/author/creator's content is literally in the top two best things you could do on this site. Its the equivalent of showing off something you enjoy to your friends, or recommending something to your friends. Its literally the most prominent way in a very limited few of how you can help and support a creator on Tumblr.
Its flattering at the least. A source of indescribable joy at best. Literally every time I get a notification saying someone reblogged something of mine I feel a sense of warmth, pride, happiness and fulfillment. That post is something I made; something I put effort into, and your reblog is saying 'hey, I liked this! I'm showing other people I like this! I'm giving other people the chance to like it too!'.
And to the people who are frequently in my notifications; I see you. I value you. I remember you.
I know I'm awful at communication. God knows the Discord groups I'm in can attest; I begin to feel like a nuisance, an unwelcome presence and I run away, but I'm trying to get better at showing my appreciation to everyone who supports me, engages with me and reaches out.
