You know, reading comments or posts talking about how "Undertale is garbage" or the "fanbase is garbage." You can apply this to any fandom or fanbase for that matter. Every fandom has their garbage side. It can range from games to shows. From UT to Touhou. From Game of Thrones to Supernatural. Lets take it a step further: MLP to the furry fandom. 

Every fandom/fanbase has those kinds of people in it. I've seen people ship Claus and Porky. Fucking PORKY, whose OLD. I've seen people draw some of my favorite characters in Touhou with bizarre and creepy ass fetishes. I EVEN SEEN PEOPLE ATTACK INNOCENT ARTISTS BECAUSE THEY GENDER BENT CHARACTERS FROM STEVEN UNIVERSE (Which btw, I hate MOST of the SU fandom because of this. But I know there are still sane people who watch and enjoy the show.) I’ve seen the Dark Magician Girl in a fucking Diaper. Yes, not even YUGIOH is safe.Sarcasm here. Oh hey Anime fans! How’s dealing with people who like lolicon and shotacon! Man you guys really LOVE tentacle hentai right?

 I'm not justifying the actions of the Undertale fandom. However, I'm tired of people meshing people together because of a few bad eggs. I think it's sick that people ship Frisk with any adult characters. I agree to that. However. It's those kinds of people that give most of fandom a bad name. Yes, some might take it to the extreme in defending of what they love, Aka the "White Knights." But then you have those people who would just leave a silly comment every once in awhile on a video. 

 The whole point of this is that everyone has their different tastes, every person has, at one point, been in a fandom that has a garbage side in it. But stating that another fandom is "garbage," you might as well say that all fandoms are garbage since every fandom, if you're in one or not, has THAT side to it. And there's no point lumping in a few good people in it with the bad apples.
