i think he did !!!!

idk i just love the idea of james potter sitting in his dorm giggling as he wrote poems about his friends

and yes i said his friends because almost all of his poems were about the marauders, only one was about lily and he threw it away

james potter was seriously on the verge of falling in love with all of his friends it was fine

“and the moonlight made his eyes glow and if i didn’t already know what magic felt like, i’d think that was it” (moony)

“i could spend hours recollecting all his scars and tracing over them in my mind and each time he gets prettier and prettier and my mind can’t wrap around the pure beauty that is a star.” (sirius)

“he doesn’t laugh often but when he does he throws his head back and tries to cover his mouth and i’m in awe at how groundbreakingly breathtaking something so trivial could be.” (peter)

“he says he hates how his hair frames his face and yet everytime he brushes it past his ears or turns his head to the left, my mind stops working and every word gets caught in my throat and for a moment i realize that he doesn’t see the beauty i do.” (regulus)

and there are TONS of poems, written on random pierces of parchments, on pages of his school books, his quidditch notes, napkins, everywhere

one time he wrote one on his arm because he couldn’t not put the words down before he forgot them because remus just made him feel and he needed to remember

and some of them aren’t even poetic or good they’re just rambles of

“oh sirius looks rather nice today i can’t think straight. literally”

and

“moony oh my god moony moony moony moony MOOY MOONY”

and eventually the other marauders find some of his poems and are both equally touched and find it hilarious

but they never tell him because james always looks so concentrated when writing them, he sticks hi tongue out and is so deep in thought and he looks so proud when he’s finished

and plus,!james poems are quite nice and nobody else had ever written POEMS about them

and so they always looks away when they see james scribble something down and shove it in his pocket with the biggest grin on his face

I know deceit can still be used, but just out of curiosity.

Intruloceit - (could stay because Remus is also referred to as “intru” here, but maybe) Intrulonus

there wasn’t anything bad with being gay, he just was not. he liked girls !

and yet he could not stop thinking about kissing remus

funnily enough, it started small. a simple, “oh remus’ smile is kinda pretty”

and boy did it downfall from there.

and now, 3 months after that stupid joke. james sits in his bed and wonders what remus’ lips would feel like on his.

how the hell did he get so fucked up?

did it start that morning when remus waltzed into the common room with a lollipop in his mouth?

or maybe the day before a full moon? where remus is angry and yelling and biting his lip and looking with such fire behind his eyes ?

or maybe it was when remus laughed and threw his head back, hands coming up to cover his face

or maybe even when remus threw a book at him

james didn’t know. all he knew is that for the past 3 days, he couldn’t think straight. literally.

he’s not sure it was rational, thinking about pulling his best friend into his bed and snogging the living daylights out of him.

or how his hands were probably the perfect aize to fit at his waist, or around his neck

or how his thighs looked incredible in those muggle jeans, or how he looked when his stretched and his shirt rode up to reveal such a nice, soft, stretch of skin.

he should not be thinking about it.

especially when remus walks in the room, obviously fresh out of the shower. hair still wet, a dopey grin on his face.

he was saying something, he was. james listen

no. james could not listen because all of attention was on that mouth and the small droplets of water that fell from his hair, down his neck.

and james found himself in another inner turmoil because why does he want remus to push him against a wall right now?

when his attention came back to, he could see remus smiling at him, a knowing look in his eyes

‘god no, that can’t be good’

james tried smiling back, but he was having a hard enough time already

and remus but his bottom lip to his his grin and james seriously had gone mad

“you don’t hide your crush very well prongs.”

and what.

remus didn’t just say that did he? what crush? james didn’t have a crush. not on him, not on moony. no.

but remus was smiling and moving closer and james felt his cheeks flush ashe tried to say something, do something

and then remus lips were on his

everyting james had thought, everything he’d fantasized about. none of it could compare to how the real thing felt.

remus’ hands were in his hair, pulling him closer. a tongue swiping over his bottom lip.

james was gone, james was so gone.

his own hands found their way to remus shirt, pulling him impossibly closer, kissing him harder. afraid maybe it was a dream.

it felt like minutes before remus pulled away, james bit back a whine at the loss of everything that screamed moony.

but remus was smiling, a real wide grin, his own cheeks slighlty red, breathing a bit heavier than he was before.

and james grinned.
