i actually adore the way fandoms can take 5 minutes of screen time or one little detail about a character and turn it into something new lmao. like belagrace actually baffles me wdym these two girls never even knew eachother and never will know eachother and bela is practically a minor character in one game but suddenly there’s an over 30 chapter fanfic about her and grace?? What were your thoughts on the last of us tv series? I personally think neither of the seasons are better than the games (ofc), but the first season was better than the second and actually had good deviations (Bill and Frank’s story, the humanization of the antagonists in Kansas City, and the fucking awesome bloater scene)

i agree, the first season was alright. it was quite accurate and the acting was phenomenal! it was a goo film adaptation and i had like minimal complaints.
the second season, however…
god, it’s a fucking WRECK. i’m aware attractiveness has nothing to do with a character, and bella’s a great actor, but good lord they were NOT the fit for ellie. ellie’s a hardened survivor, one with a little bite and sternness in her gaze. bella was NOTHING like that as ellie in the second season.
not only do they look nothing like adult ellie, they don’t fit the vibe whatsoever. she acted stupid, immature, and inexperienced the entire season. i honestly want it recreated.
the dialogue sucked too. wtf was “ur gay, im not” and “you’re actual pretty handsome” like PLEASE WHAT ARE WE DOING
and dina having a full blowout the whole show
so honestly….first season pretty good. second season trash.
