@jem-scribbles, @ktrosesworld, @chocolatequeennk, @colourinside (This was my the wedding of my best friend from kindergarten, FYI, I was her Man of Honor.) Thanks guys! I felt like a million bucks. I got lots of compliments. The wedding was beautiful and I rather enjoyed the reception. Which was a first for me, but it's also the first time I've drank at a reception... I was very social (for me) and, I think, very charming. There were even other gender non-conforming people in attendence. Which was refreshing. I was too shy to talk to them, though. A woman caught the garter and put it on the leg of the woman who caught the bride's flowers. It was good fun, but I'm glad it's done now so I can relax for the rest of my vacation.

I just think itâs amazing that you even have a kilt tag. I may have to peruse it soon to lift my mood.
I have so many David tags omg. XDÂ
One of my fave David tags of mine though is #oh david. All kinds of precious adorkable moments in that one. 15 pages of it :3
jem-scribbles replied to your post: lol at David wearing his Georgia shirt to...
What exactly is on the infamous Georgia shirt? Is it a photo of Georgia covering her face? Iâve been trying to get a good look at it for a while now, and I canât make it out.
lol yup. Sheâs covering her face with her left hand, which of course has a shiny wedding ring. Itâs like wearing âDAVID TENNANT IS TAKEN. THANK YOU ANYWAYâ in hot pink. bahaha I love it.Â

Whatever the case, it's a gorgeous jacket and I want one.
Agreed. I kinda want one for Mr. Thingsdtwears. Heâd look seriously haawwwt in that.

I don't go to teaspoon because it's difficult to navigate, otherwise I'd fight them for you! *shakes fist*
Yeah, itâs more difficult to post there and I donât always get notifications. For some reason the couple of email accounts Iâve tried to use with them, junk their emails or donât deliver them at all. Whofic seems to get marked as spam. Very odd. So for the longest time, I didnât think anyone reviewed anything there or stuff wasnât getting approved.Â
Iâm spoiled with AO3 moderated comments. Not that this one was really bad, just questionable and I honestly have no idea who to respond and especially when the same thing is posted 5 times. Itâs a little awkward. At least on AO3 I can choose not to approve it for publication. No worries. Iâve gotten much much worse so this was merely a blip on the awkward radar ;)
weather the weather
Summary: The Doctor and Lucie have to camp in the heat with a fire blazing. Lucie is not particularly pleased with the situation.
Characters: Eighth Doctor & Lucie Miller
Rating: all ages || Word Count: 420 words
Note #1: for @jem-scribblesâs Art Party! Iâm getting this in right under the wire (again) but I went for the âwhether the weatherâ prompt and the fire prompt :) (so i suppose that qualifies for the Go-Getter Bonus?)Â
Note #2: I was re-listening to Eight & Lucie audios today so they were in my head and I had to write them ⼠These two are amazing. Also this is the poem Lucie references
AO3
âI donât know why youâve got to have a fire when itâs so bleedinâ hot out here,â Lucie complained. She tugged at the front of her vest top, hoping to create some sort of breeze to cool her off. âI swear it got hotter when the sun went down and that shouldnât be possible.â
âWell, unless you want to be attacked by the gryeans overnight, the fire is necessary. Theyâre scared of the light,â the Doctor said, poking at the fire heâd built.
âCouldâve done with a lantern or something instead of a fire, sâall Iâm saying.â
âYes, well, fresh out of lanterns Iâm afraid.â
âCourse you are.â
âCome on, Lucie. Itâs just a couple of hours. We can tell ghost stories! I bet I know one thatâll send chills down your spine.â The Doctor grinned and plopped down on the ground crosslegged, setting his velvet coat next to him. Even he wasnât immune to the oppressive heat and had shed his coat and rolled up his sleeves.
For Warmth
A quick little thing inspired by @jem-scribbles awesome fanart of Tentoo and Rose kissing in Journeyâs End.
Tentoo x Rose 372 words flagst--fluffy angst with a hopeful ending
AO3 and TSP
The TARDIS disappeared and she stared at the faint, perfectly square, imprint in the sand. Rose felt his hand slip into hers and rubbed her thumb over the back of his knuckles. Instinctual. Reflex. Habitual. Inevitable.
Looking up at him, the biting wind chilling her to her very soul, she didnât know what to do or say. Was there a script she should follow? Words that might make sense? She wasnât feeling sensible and certainly had no idea what to say.
But the Doctor looked at her with those same timeless eyes. He held her hand as if he hadnât just disappeared into the TARDIS. And there it was, that sense of security and safety. The sense that he wouldnât let go. The certainty he held her as tightly to him as she held him to her.
Rose did the only thing that made sense. She tugged him to her and kissed him again. The Doctor wrapped his arms around her, and she huddled in his embrace. He kissed her deeply, and she shuddered at the tender love and affection she tasted on his lips.
The wind didnât bite as deeply with him holding her. And the echoing wheeze of the TARDIS didnât echo as sharply in her memory.
âI havenât left you.â His voice caressed her skin, and the Doctor released her just enough to brush her blowing hair off her face.
âNo.â Rose licked her lips then wished she hadnât. The harsh Norwegian wind took whatever moisture she managed and whisked it into the frigid air.
She pressed closer to his body and let him wrap his arms around her. Resting her head on his chest, she listened to his single heartbeat and closed her eyes.
âCome on.â The Doctor kissed the top of her head. âLetâs get off this beach.â
âItâs freezing.â Rose didnât know if she meant the air chilled herâit did. Or the Doctorâs leaving hadâthat also did.
âIâll keep you warm,â the Doctor, this Doctor, promised.
Rose looked up at him and smiled. It was small, weak, but she meant it with all her heart. âForever?â
âRose Tyler.â The Doctor took her hand and kissed her bare knuckles. âThought I already promised you that.â
