Jellyfish Bath Bombs
kind of sorry for all the jellyfish posts but i just remembered these from my other blog and really really want to visit an aquarium again :’)Â
On Jellyfish
So a lot of sci-fi aliens seem to be based off bugs. They have exo-skeletons, or big bug eyes, or are drones of a queen, like in Ender’s Game or Independence Day (to be absolutely frank, I walked in on the second one, so I’m not sure about the original, but in the second one they were bug-aliens).
But what if instead of writing aliens like bugs, we wrote them like jellyfish. Big, stupid, indestructible and constantly peckish for a snack. That, in my opinion, would be pretty intimidating too. Not that bugs aren’t... but it could be cool. :)
