My plans for this year are to finish Dereliction and begin writing the next instalment, and when my shifts become less hectic and more sustainable I’ll have the time to properly plan out some decent writing/planning/editing time. Finally writing again 😭 my laptop is making noises like it’s dying, so it’s back to my notes app again but it’s been so long since I’ve had any inspiration! Maybe it’s the good weather, I’ve always been a bit of a plant.
My kiddo is back at school next week so I should have more time to write/edit/ update! ✨
So um me my partner and my 4yo are being kicked out. Feeling very betrayed rn as we sold our house to move in with this relative to help them with their medical issues and they’re now just dropping us because they ‘miss their own space’ and because my 4yo makes too much noise (he makes normal kid noise and relative knew this before we moved in)
Anyway! Um, sporadic updates for a while as we panic try and find somewhere to live and I try and find a job that’s not caring for my relative 🙃 might post next chapter later if I get the chance because writing this is honestly an amazing form escapism, but just heads up…
Trying to be positive, getting out of this house will be good for my mental health as relative has been very insulting and nasty recently, and it was at the point when I heard him walking towards the room I’d tense.
But if we rent we might have to rehome our cats as obviously getting my kid into a house is priority and we can’t be picky but…my cats are family too. If ever there was a time to win the lottery (I mean it’d be a miracle because I don’t actually play ahahaha)
