Sirius CANNOT find out about this, at least not yet. AKA James wants to come clean to his best friend, but Regulus "let me be the one to tell him," wants to wait a bit, keep enjoying what they have before they burst their bubble.

Of course there is the subsequent "this is exactly why I didn't want to tell you" argument between the brothers when Sirius inevitably finds out and Reacts Badly™ before Remus speaks (fucks??) some sense into him and makes him see reason.

He will begrudgingly allow it ( because "they make each other happy." He's pouty about it though).

(Took some creative liberties with some of these (the first one) meaning they weren't necessarily meant in the context I used, but were close enough to the general dialogue that normally would happen in that scenario)

"Potter" becomes "James," and the accompanying 'breaking down of walls.'

Have James acknowledge just how mean Regulus is BUT!! (and this is the important part) establish that He Likes It This Way™
