Another reason not to shop on Am@zon. I turned in my typical pregnancy accommodations per EEOC and ADA. Have never had an issue. I asked for no more than 8hrs per day with opportunities for breaks to elevate her feet and hydrate (warehouses do not have a/c and we are in MS) and lift load limit of 25lbs… they pulled her off the floor today and escorted her out and handed her a letter stating that she is to go on immediate short term disability and pay is still being determined. They said she didn’t qualify for FMLA because she didnt have enough hours (short by 26.44). Had she been allowed to work for another two weeks, she would have easily had those hours and qualified for FMLA. They excused her on purpose!!!! She is happy to be done with them. The whole reason we filled this paperwork out early is because they were making her use her FMLA for appointments.
