Hiya, anon! Do you mean do I think Jeanfloch will become a thing or do you mean have I noticed that Jeanfloch is already is a thing in fandom? If the latter, I’ve seen a few pictures around but it doesn’t seem to be a major trend so far? Maybe I’m sitting in a very limited corner of the Western/English-speaking fandom (and I haven’t been so active recently), so I’ve missed something, but so far I don’t think it’s giving any of the other major Jean ships a run for their money.

And I think there’s a reason for that. From what I’ve seen on Tumblr, Floch isn’t very popular. Although I think there are a lot of building blocks for a sort of lookalike rivalmance ™ between them (they both value honesty but the conclusions they draw about the world are very different; the more mature Jean also appears to lecture the more impulsive Floch), the general opinion of Floch (which was already heavily polarized after his speech in chapter 90) seems to have sunk based on his actions in chapter 102. Again, maybe I’ve missed something, and it could be that Jeanfloch is very popular in parts of the fandom that I don’t have access to, but it doesn’t surprise me that even though Jeanfloch actually has a lot of potential from a shipping standpoint, it doesn’t seem to have picked up much steam.

If you’re asking me if I ship Jeanfloch the answer is no xD. Jearmin or bust bro! I’m not trying to start a shipwar, I can see why it might be appealing, but Jearmin is THE OTP for me, and in this case I don’t multiship. But to each their own!
