"Come on, Sev! Hogsmeade will be closed by the time you stop dragging your feet!" It was a sight to see, the short, stocky Hufflepuff girl dragging the tall, lanky Slytherin boy across the grounds, but here it was. The 17-year old Severus groaned, his face red.

"Shhh, Angel, people are staring," he hissed, attempting to straighten up. However, the 13-year old Angel happened to have a death grip on his hand.

"Whatever! Let's just get down there," she said, albeit a bit quieter now. She grinned back at him, and he huffed. Yes, he had agreed to go to Hogsmeade together this weekend, as a celebration of his impending graduation, but he had not considered the consequences of dawdling in the common room a little longer than usual.

"Hey Snivellus, nice girlfriend!" Called a Ravenclaw boy whom neither of them recognized. This was what spurred Severus to finally pick up the pace, settling into step beside Angel, who was now equally red in the face.

"It's okay, you're right. Let's just get down there," he said, giving her a small, reassuring smile. He always felt bad when she became a target by extension of him, though he'd warned her plenty of times that it would happen.

"It's alright, you know," she said and smiled up at him. "You're my best friend, I don't care what everyone else thinks. They're just jealous." This earned her a rare laugh out of Severus. It was a nice sound.
