Oof sick! I'm so sorry, that sucks! I'm literally the biggest baby about being sick since it almost never happens to me. I wish I lived near enough to ship you some soup or something, it would probably be chicken noodle because I'm a basic bitch when it comes to soup, but I have grandma's recipe so it's pretty good!
I've never had the soup you mentioned before, mostly because i absolutely do not trust any Asian restaurants in my area to be anything close to authentic or good (I'm in the midwest U.S atm so any kind of ethnic food I don't make myself is rare), but it sounds good!

Oof yeah, I once asked a cousin and friend in the Canada and US how common Asian food is there. Apparently not that common? Or maybe the good ones are super rare.
I hope they will too, and honestly it's not that I set out to do it, it's that i start writing, get caught up in the details, and can't shut up about it lol.
I do cook! My favorites are Bulgogi (Korean bbq) Kalbi, Orange chicken, teriyaki anything, seafood fried rice, and sweet pineapple pork! How about you? Do you have faves?
And there's nothing wrong with that! Rice is so much healthier than a lot of the alternatives, it's why I've been eating more of it recently. There's something incredibly satisfying about a big bowl full of rice!

I can't cook for the life of me. (Save me, 'Samu.) More like, I can cook...for survival. Not for ah, a relaxing dinner or something. But oohh, I definitely have a love for my country's (Philippines) dishes. But katsu always makes me drool. Nothing like a good katsu set meal to make me so full.
