SO basically rin after being sent to war, and losing their entire sense of self becomes a feral unstoppable movement in the war.

so, trying to conserve resources the goddess of the land sends their brightest and strongest knight, tsuno (name wip idk if itll stay) to go try and 'deal' with rin. unfortunately for them upon seeing rin they felt and intense infatuation grow unhealthy in their chest quicker than anything they had ever felt.

they knew who this was.

the boogeymen of all the children of the land.

the monster behind the loss of thousands.

none of it couldve prepared tsuno for the feelings they felt upon seeing them amidst corpses, torn to shreds by that who sat before them. even with rin sitting, sword in chest of one of tsunos kin heart in hand, tsuno could only feel their own heart beat faster.

not in fear though. if it was they could explain it away. come up with excuses. make it seem as if this were a normal thing to feel upon the terrors that lay infront of their eyes.

seeing tsuno approach them rin felt something different than the typical hate or fear in the other people who approached them in their eyes, so in curiosity let them come near. still sitting tsuno loomed over them with an unfamiliar warmth in their eyes towards rin, something they hadn't seen since the sea goddess, Meri last looked at them telling them it'd only be a few years till they'd come home to her. it was the first time rin has seen love in someone's eyes to them since the war began. pure, unadulterated love. in a move typically seen in superiority tsuno grabbed rins face in complete devotion.

rin felt soft touch for the first time in what felt like millennia, and melted into it

tsuno could only feel as if the world was crashing from around them.

ALSO after all this tsuno snaps bak and quickly leaves running but oftentimes finds their way back to rin in battle and will on purpose miss shots and even protect them infront of their goddess. whenever tsuno hears of a big battle rin was in their try to go find them to see if they can help. rins just chilling and likes having someone care for them for once meanwhile tsunos down BAD like. insane style
