Mara Hoffman is a New York fashion designer known for designing clothing and swimwear alive with bright color and kaleidoscopic, bohemian prints.  I love her aesthetic - a unique interpretation of the global, world-traveler vibe, inspired by the radiant beauty of nature and the excitement of discovering far-off places all around the globe.

But what I really love... is all that collage! While Hoffman often includes fantastic collage images by a myriad of artists (including Sammy Slabbinck, Mariano Peccinetti, and her husband, Javier Piñón, among others) on her blog, she also uses the technique as a means to present her clothing and swimwear to the public - combining images of well-styled models with wings, standing on clouds, or supine, suspended in the air, in front of a serene mountain.  Rich with inspiring vintage images and incredible collage imagery, Hoffmans' blog has the same "stream-of-consciousness" that many tumblr blogs have - the difference is Hoffman herself, a unique curator combining fine art, pop art, fashion, travel photos, bright colors, nature images, vintage kitsch, and sci-fi gifs into a cohesive mix of straight-up fun.

By the way, Mom, Hoffman was raised in Buffalo, NY.  I knew you'd like that.  ;)
