Today, Fiorentino chose the language of facts, as always. We don't deserve you, Presi 🤍
The more I read about the decision to cancel the La Liga match in Miami the more this is looking like a clear win for organized dissent by the Association of Spanish Footballers.
I can’t tell you how excited I am that player power is emerging as a relevant force in decision making. You can see the leagues are scared to admit it but they caved.
More of this please.
wild how it’s perfectly fine and acceptable for the president of a sporting league to be a self-identified fan and frequent supporter & aide in his role as president of one of the teams in said league

It’s great bc Tebas (La Liga president) and his friends don’t move a finger when 2 teams in La Liga can buy whoever they want from other leagues or even within La Liga, spending huge amounts of money, but when it’s the opposite they whine for days... I don’t even know what are they trying to do, but the fans of all the small La Liga teams feel mistreated and underapreciated (once again) because they see how the big teams keep on signing their players and La Liga system doesn’t do anything to help them.
The way the money is shared is so unfair that those teams can never aspire to compete with the big names. They can’t even dream about ending up higher than 8th. Qualifying for the Europa League seems an impossible mission. If they can’t offer money or success to their best players, they see them leave year after year, decreasing their competitive level, and joined to their poor economic level, the difference between the top and the non-top teams grows bigger and bigger every season.
As Tebas once admitted, what he wants is the RM-FCB rivalry and to keep it alive, he doesn’t need anything else. He prefers a league with a lot of 8-0 results, than having surprises and thrilling matches. Shame on him.
[[TR: Javier Tebas: “Rayo [Vallecano] doesn’t want Nazis, and what if tomorrow another team doesn’t want homosexuals?]]
can we take a moment to aknowledge that javier tebas, president of la liga, put being a nazi and being gay on the same fuckibg levek???
like to begin with, we have the clearly homophobic implication that loving someone of your same gender is bad
but he is basically saying that being gay is as bad as supporting an ideology and its system that systematically slaughtered masses of people (which btw, was particularly vicious with gay people)
so yeah, i’m nauseous with anger.
