In the ways Jatt works (or atleast how it does in my head)

James and Matt are Keith's past exes, so they either before or after everything got into a relationship to get over him/to make him jealous, maybe? (That would mostly probably be James, i think.) And when they start dating, they start gaining feelings for each other, whether they were wanted or not or whether they knew or not. Now, if it's after everything that can go in multiple ways, BUTTTT if it's before I have a perfect scenario for it 😈

Okay, so pretty much they started dating in school to again make him jealous/ get over him (again before I go on I dont know much about James so if i mischarcterise him a bit im sorry I will try and fix my mistakes) well when they do this Matt genuinely starts liking him ALOTTTTT like he ends up being absolutely DOWN BADDD for James WERE TALKING ANOTHER LEVEL OF DOWN BAD and James is lowkey still yearning for Keith but he starts like SLOWLY falling for Matt too whether he admits it or not and then after months maybe even a year or a little less than one its time for Matt to leave for THE MISSION and James is like SO upset because he lowkey doesnt want to say goodbye but when they do its so beautifully tragic in a sense ANYWAYS HERES THE WHOLE SCENE THATS BEEN IN MY HEAD SINCE I CAME UP WITH JATT!!

Matt and James hug to physically show their goodbye to one another since they didn't want to say it cause then it'd really mean a goodbye. And neither of them were going to do more until Matt stopped and decided to kiss him something they've never really done before. I mean, that's not really entirely why they started this relationship in the first place, they never even considered being a genuine and serious couple with all the real romantics to it so why was he doing this all so suddenly? They both thought they were over after this moment until they reached the same planet again, but I guess not? Matt spoke up, "You obviously can date other people if you want to. But I'll wait for you until I'm back even if I know you're with someone new, or you just dont like me anymore. I'll continue waiting.. I mean, what choice do I really have?" He let out a small laugh even though he was completely serious about his words and actions. And with that, James waited for YEARS for Matt. Even if he at first tried to go back for Keith, he knew it wasn't meant to be. He needed his dorkish boyfriend, who was up somewhere missing in space.

I’m so sad big mouth ended it’s such a good show and I only started watching it like a month ago and it ended already. I really wish Jay and Matthew got back together but we still got some stuff just not what most people wanted. The last season felt pretty rushed and felt like there should’ve been like 2 more seasons after instead of being the ending but still a really good season.

I'm theorizing (and hoping) that Jay and Matthew get back together in the beginning of the season (given that Nick is still short here)

And because Jay is a such a perverted horndog I think Matthew is gonna want to "study up" on gay sex/sexual acts, so as to "keep up" with Jay in their relationship

However, Jay isn't just a regular horny teenager. I would assume the episode ends with Matthew getting overwhelmed with everything sex entails, confesses to Jay that he doesn't feel ready for sex and was afraid to tell him because he feared Jay would dump him if he didn't "put out", all to which Jay will respond with something along the lines of: "Dude, are you kidding me?
