Jasper Wong has a rare opportunity to see art from both sides of the business. Not only is he an accomplished artist with exhibitions all over the world, publication in numerous journals and magazines, and a recent appearance as one of Hyperbeast’s 100 most influential figures in the industry, but he is also the founder of Hong Kong gallery, Above Second, and another in Honolulu called Loft In Space. Wong is also the creator of Pow! Wow! Hawaii, which is rapidly becoming a model for festivals around the world including 2015 in Long Beach. Microsoft was so impressed with Jason’s work for Pow! Wow! that in Fall, 2015 they partnered with him to bring together a community of artists to use their technology and produce a series called “Designed on Surface.” This initial piece in the series is in Long Beach at 3rd St. and Alamo Ct.  @mrjasperwong
