The boy’s parents, #JasonWillis and #DetraWillis have expressed that it is unacceptable for a teacher who is supposedly trained to deal with children with #Disabilities to kick their son in the head and only receive a slap on the wrist charge of simple battery. “I don't think that's the first time she has done that to my son, if she was okay doing that, what makes you think she hasn't done it before,” Jason added. The school issued a generic, non-committal statement about taking things seriously and investigating the matter. We will see what comes from that. • As we’ve said countless times, we need our own separate nation that we can design to serve us. In this situation, a Black child has been abused. To get any recourse, a majority white school administration or a majority white police department will have to come to a determination on if this abusive behavior requires a consequence. How is it that after all of this time, white people are still deciding what is just or unjust when white people harm Black people?
