I think it's important to mention that just because you're a content creator doesn't mean you have to reply to everything ya know?
Like you don't have to reply to anyone if you don't want to, and even if you see it, it's not like you can always reply.
If you're commenting on things expecting a reply, then what you're saying is probably irrelevant and you're probably just fishing for some kind of connection that you could get somewhere else.

exactly!! i appreciate all the interaction i get on my fics and on here, and i try my best to respond to as many nice comments as i can because they mean a lot to me.
but when it becomes transactional in the sense that a person feels entitled to my time and gets upset if i don't respond, to the point that they even guilt me for not replying, it just doesn't seem fair or genuine.
