And this was the last event for this month... and probably for a longer time xD Japanday yesterday was a blast even if it was hot as hell xD But still so much fun 💕 The only super annoying thing: people who don’t respect you or your cosplay and keep knocking/slapping your head, try to stick a finger through it, etc. My head has several cracks and stuff thanks to it. In theme with Fullmetal Alchemist, Drawfest Christchurch also built an Alphonse bust to help decorate the Anime room @Japan day 2018! This build was quite challenging and for most people who helped on the build , their first few steps into Cosplay and prop making. This year for Japan Day Anime room/Drawfest collaboration, the drawfest team and I built a light up human transmutation circle! The best thing about this circle is that it activates when you place both hands down, it makes you feel like an alchemist haha. Overall people loved it, young and old, fans and non-fans of the show.
