I just had my first chance to talk to a boy about why I am a feminist, and it surprised him that even though I had all these opinions and personal experiences to prove why I wasn't particularly fond of men, I still maintained the opinion that women are not better or worse than men are, and that we are all equal. Kind of sad, if you think about it, really.
