Jane had just awoken. The date was April 17th, which she knew because  she knew it had been her 13th birthday four days ago. And that she had  failed to escape her fate. Her Epoch of Transmutation.

She didn't know what she looked like yet. But she could feel something through her stomach. And several things on her head. Her ears felt the strangest, though.

But soon enough, a nurse came in, with several spears embedded in her torso. She checked on Jane, and gave the newly-transmutated girl the okay to walk around, leaving soon after.

It took Jane a bit to stand up-whatever was through her stomach was tricky to maneuver. But once she did, she quickly found a mirror, looking at herself. She thought she looked absolutely-OBEY-stunning. She looked stunning.

She discovered that what she had through her stomach was a trident. The things on her head were strange horns, as well as her own fork going through her head. There seemed to be a strange bit of frosting at the top. And, of course, she was wearing her tiaratop. A perfect touch.

Her ears had been replaced with what she assumed were fins, and she had gotten all-new clothes as well. She didn't care that her skin was now a dark grey, or that her own blood was seemingly mixed with a fuchsia version of it. She found she understood why. She found she understood a lot more.

Later on, she left for home, and spoke to her friends. Finally, she was told exactly how much she'd changed by her friends. Her personality was different-she attempted to advertise products in the middle of conversations. She was colder. And seemed to hide additional messages, much more in tune with the agenda she knew Crockercorp had now, as she spoke.

Giggling, you're skipping your way around, lollipop in hand. You know you're not alone, because you can hear someone saying something about hiding. But since you can hear them, you'll follow where you think their voice came from, and...Boom! There they are. This mystery person has turned out to be someone you know! The one and only Jade Harley. She begs for you not to hurt her, and you laugh. You tell her you're not going to hurt her, and then you stick the lollipop right in her face.

Pow! Now she's giggling, floating up and giving you such a big hug. You point out how she looks a lot like a candy cane, and you laugh together. Now you're off, looking for someone else.

Eventually, your merry band of tricksters grows in size from two, to three, to five, to six! And now all of you are giggling, floating around, and having the time of your lives. At least, you’re pretty sure all of you are. And then you feel something. You feel... Less happy? You look over to Jade, and she's looking a little wobbly.
