As my mate reminded me in her latest (read first) post, yesterday indeed was the last day of winter. Hurray, Spring! Welcome march)) and to bid farewell to Winter we watched "Cake" with Jen Aniston the last hours of February. What can I say, Jennifer is brilliant! Although the movie is not a comedy, she perfectly fits in! her character is very miserable, unhappy woman suffering a lot, but she still reminds hilaroius in her own way. While watching you would never tell yourself "wa? try a bit, mate" you would instead catch yourself on a thought "this is great, I really believe her". Inspite of having few stamps, the movie is worth watching. I never regreted of spending time on it. Besides the age-old themes of love, suffer, friendship, support, the story gives you an astonishing example of overcoming yourself. And fighting pain, fear, guilt and weakness one can find the light at the end of the tunnel. Clare is anything but the angel, her ways are far from being a good example, but she still hangs in somewhere inside. Also that dark irony of hers beautifies the story much. and that cute readheaded guy too. couldn't help mentioning him, far too hot)) In a word - Spring's started with a very insightful, non-trivial story about recollecting yourself up from pieces, though seemingly, what could be more trivial than that? Trite as the idea is, it still finds the way to your heart, using some interesting twits and talented actors. Life is life, and you are strong enough, to get out of whatever happens. So let this example be a good omen for new times, coming to us.
