The Pahalgam Terrorist Attacks
Man wtf.
Twenty six CIVILIAN lives taken for what crime? For being Hindu. Most were tourists who were martyred by this terrorist organization. It has been confirmed that the terrorists confirmed the religion of the tourists before shooting, sparing the Muslim ones. Rest in power I pray for you everyday. The worst part of this is that it isn't an isolating incident, this has happened many many many times. Reminder this isn't a dig at Muslims or at Islam. This is a dig at terroristic organizations who think they can twist the words of god into something reprehensible and I curse them eternal suffering on their wives, children. and mothers. With hat being said here is a list of everything that has happened in Jammu and Kashmir.
March 21 2000- Militants targeted the MINORITY Sikh community in Chattisinghpora village Anantnag district in the night. killing 36 people.
August 2000- THIRTY TWO people, including Two dozen Amarnanth PILGRIMS, were killed in a terror attack at the Nunwan base camp.
July 2001- Amarnant yatris were targeted this time at the Sheshnag base camp in Anantnag, killing 13.
November 23,2002- Nineteen people including nine security force personnel three women and two children Due to an improvised explosive device in lower munda in south kashmir on the jammu-srinagar highway.
March 23, 2003- Terrorists massacered at LEAST 24 kashmiri pandits (Who are a dying population and native to the land). including 11 women and 2 children, in Nandimarg village in the Pulwama District.
June 13, 2005- 13 civillians, including 2 school CHILDREN, and three CRPF officers were killed, and over 100 people sustained injures when a bomb filled car blew up in the pulwama marketplace.
July 10 2017- Attack on Amarnath Yatra bus in Kulgam kills 8.
Kill count: ~198 people maybe more
Injured: 100+
Do you guys see how fucked this is? and I am speaking as an NRI. but Genuinely if you defend what the terrorists did to "Help" no. Pahalgam depends heavily on tourism. Now would you want to go there after you heard what happened?

The 19th-century Vaishnava temples of Sui and Burj are adorned with paintings illustrating episodes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas, Krishna Leela, and other epics. Such temples are found scattered across the Jammu area of Kashmir.
The paintings offer a vivid glimpse into Jammu society of the period. They cover a range of subjects, from war and palace life to the smallest details, such as the type of utensils used, prevalent architectural designs, and garments in vogue.
These works belong to the Pahari school of art, which flourished in the foothills of the western Himalayas from the 17th to 19th century. Different types of minerals, oils and semi-precious stones were used to make the colours to paint the walls. Layers of lime plaster were applied on the wall before the paintings were made.
