Here’s the thing about the bamboo torture myth
Okay so Mythbusters finally made it’s way to a streaming platform I can watch -- and lemme just say about the bamboo torture myth, I think that the myth is flawed from the start. A plant needs sunlight to grow -- and a human body, unlike the body of the ballistic gel dummy they used for the test -- is opaque, not transparent/translucent. How is a plant meant to grow under the conditions that the myth demands as opposed to the testing phase that they presented?
Wild myth, and great to watch -- but I question their data
