//Yes, and No. For a couple of reasons.  He really wants to have someone he can call his own, someone to love him for as long as he stands. Someone he can just be with. But he knows he can’t express that love well. His emotions are very flat, muted,  and lackluster. He doesn’t want a relationship to be a commitment if he can’t express that feeling. He’s scared that it’ll feel one sided, when really its not. 

//He’s superstitious, but he doesn’t carry any specific luck charm on him. He’d be more worried about losing the charm, rather than what good it would do him.

♿ - Is your character in some way handicapped? (This includes physical, emotional, and mental.)  // James has a history of depression, social anxiety, and agoraphobia, which he keeps a handle on with his smoking habit. The use of CBD helps to calm his nerves and keeps him from stressing out, so he can focus in day to day life. 

//It’d depend on the severity, and where he is when it happened. Bright side, he keeps a lot of photos and keepsakes of his loved ones that could be used to help jog his memory or bring something back.  He’d probably try and disappear for a bit while he recollects everything. It’d be worse dealing with people that he’s supposed to know waiting for any sign of recognition. It’s nothing but a disappointment.  As for how it happened. Good question, Probably something stupid.
