Nowhere to Go
Well. That was an unnecessary hassle. Jim flopped onto his bed, lying there for a few moments, piecing together his thoughts. His prowess with programming had finally caught MI6's attention- he'd been basically kidnapped the day before and offered a position. He'd declined as politely as he could, like hell he'd ever work for the government.
He wondered, though, what this meant for his future. He'd been dabbling on the wrong side of the law for some time now, always subtly, ensuring he'd never be caught, but... He sighed. He'd have to cut down some of his extra-curricular programming fun, at least while MI6 was likely still keeping tabs. He might have refused them, but they could still push him into a corner.
He sighed again, and pulled out his laptop. Perhaps he could make another useless, addicting game app for housewives and welfare trolls.
