Trip to Pangkor October 2016.

One of our earliest and farthest trip. Faiz and I have been jokingly talking about it, and somehow it happened.

Together with two other friends, we drove to Lumut, parked the car, took a ferry, camp out by the beach for two nights (and both nights it was raining crazily), fought with monkeys, covered almost 3 quarter of Pangkor Island on bicycles, and not forgetting hiking up a steep hill (with our bicycles), sitting by the beach, climbing up trees, enjoying the breeze, photographing shadows, drinking salt water, looking at the water level rising bit by bit.

Gazillion things happened just in a short trip. And I’m looking forward for another Pangkor trip in the nearest future.

Off to Melaka!

Never knew that such a small state has a lot of interesting things to do. Its our 4th time here, dan ada saja benda baru.

P/s: termasuk trip yang ini, dah 3 minggu berturut ke pantai. Cuma tiada gambar.

Cerita si ikan laga.

Bermula dengan tanaman pokok kesom yang diberi orang. Instead of tanam secara terus di tanah, aku cuba kaedah air ini sebab pernah lihat orang buat.

Beberapa hari kemudian, terlihat kelibat jentik-jentik which is a no-no. That is when i decided to get a fish, untuk elak nyamuk dari membiak.

Ada kawan yang syorkan ikan laga, ikan yang senang di jaga dan tak banyak kerenah. I bought this fella for RM3 and had been keeping him in a bucket, prepping him for his new home. And as shown in the last picture, today is the day that he goes back to his natural habitat, a pot of daun kesom. Haha. Not quite though, tapi aku harap dia gembira berenang di ruangan yang lebih besar di celahan daun-daun kesom dan kenyang memakan jentik-jentik.

Melepak di tengah Kuala Lumpur, adalah sesuatu di luar norma kami dua manusia.

We would try to avoid busy places at all cost. Last sunday was an exception, I had a wedding to go to in KL, which I dragged Faiz along. Hehe. Nasib dia kool. Thank you kesayangan.

After the wedding, we decided to check out World Urban Forum 9 (WUF9) . One of the things that I wanted to visit was the microhousing, a 5mx5m house. Cun jugak lah although we questioned few things, such as execution, price and choice of materials. Good attempt for creating awareness though.

We visited Ruang by Thinkcity and the backlane next to the space. Lepak sat lawan catur! However we did not get to complete the game, as it was pouring cats and dogs without any warning. Takde guruh, takde dentum, tiba-tiba terus lebat. Faiz met his cousin, and I met few friends as well.

Had dinner at Central Market and we walked back to the car which was parked at Dataran Merdeka’s basement parking. And oh ya, KL’s facade has changed due to the refurbishment of the river. Quite impressive! Lagi bagus kalau dapat beraktiviti dalam sungai tu. In 2020 perhaps. Fingers crossed.

Setelah beberapa lama tak mengayuh akibat sibuk dengan kerja, dan juga musim hujan, Ahad lepas we decided to explore FRIM.

Alhamdulillah, it was a good cycle. Cuaca cantik (it rained earlier), dikelilingi hijauan, hampir dikejar anjing, dan yang paling seronok, ada air terjun. Tenang. Pakej yang cukup lengkap untuk kami berdua.

Lepas tu mulalah berangan nak bina rumah atas pokok. 😂
