their name is jake lindsey (so lindsey/linds for short since they go on last name basis) and their main role at the station is computer technician/electrician, but they’re kind of a jack of all trades! when they’re not focused with technical stuff they mostly play assistant to copper and sometimes help out nauls in the kitchen
they get along pretty well with the whole crew in general and they have a mutual crush on macready, but both are stubborn dumbasses who won’t admit it. most of the other guys have DEFINITELY picked up on what’s going on between them and sometimes tease one or the other about it (copper especially likes to poke fun at lindsey in private)
and if we’re ignoring the fantasy au that lives in my mind where the crew never get assimilated and they live happily ever after, yes, they do get assimilated at one point (but i haven’t figured out when lmao)
