Happy STS! I'm new to your blog, what would be your favorite three posts or tags about your world for new folks to read?
Hello, and happy STS!!
This is a great question! So, let me think, three posts or tags... Well, to be honest, the tags #pyroptosis and #greatest journey are two that I’d recommend, because they'll bring up the posts about my current running WIPS, so new folks can use them to find the WIP intros, character intros and any other snippets I’ve posted that relate to them.
As for posts, I’m still relatively new to writeblr myself, so my blog is pretty barren of original work. However, I do have some worldbuilding posts in the works for GJ, but until I get them up, my fav post is probably the last line tag I was recently tagged in, where I actually shared a taste of my writing style (which I haven’t done. At all. So, it’s like the only thing people can read to know if they like my style XD). I’ll link it here!
Thank you again for the question! <3
Random Question Time! Do you actively design the characters you write, do they tell you about themselves, or some combo of the two?
When it comes to characters, I tend to start with.. roles. Main Character, Antagonist, Person Who Steals the Rambutans and Starts the Conflict in Chapter Two. They’re placeholders, mostly, and I don’t know much about them, just what they do in the story. Like... if I”m lucky they come with a scene or two attached, but that’s not always the case.
From there, my characters graduate from Roles to... Vibes. I kind of know what they’re like, sort of—their general attitude, things they might say or do in this or that situation, but. We’re not besties yet.
Generally, I start to understand who my characters are and what they value as the story progresses. Some characters are predictable, and it’s satisfying to see that they’re turning out the way I thought they would. Others are more of a wildcard, and still others are harder to crack.
One never can tell with bees.

Happy STS! Which of your characters loves spring and why/how did they get into it?
Gil. It means the rains are finally bringing something beautiful instead of just something cold and gross and deadly. Gil has a very complicated relationship with the rain.
Happy STS! Do any of your OCs have spring traditions?
Hi and happy STS! The entirety of the Mote/Mason household celebrate the Spring equinox every year. And the Miller family have a yearly 'Lets do all the cleaning we've been neglecting now that we wont freeze to death if we open a window' party!

Bloop - blooper - bloopity
Three bloops, three facts! Here, I'll do them for Lou!
Send “Bloop” to my inbox and I’ll spout a random fun fact about one of my OCs
Lou colors their hair depending on their mood! Right now it's pink, but Lou has done red, orange, green, and a gray that somehow ended up more silver-y before!
Many people have tried to convince Lou to stop "drawing". Their maps are indecipherable, except to Lou, but nothing will convince them to quit, or do something more conventional.
It's never something they'd mention seriously, but in any other era, Lou would be on a short list of expected heroes. It can be argued that their coming-of-age quest is in service to a god (Matelus, in this case), they've met and interacted with Matelus' sacred creatures, and they've got unexplainable draws to do something... they just don't know what yet, just that it's not at home. In this day, these things tend to go unnoticed, and Lou is just seen as a fortunate oddity, with a strong relation to the gods.
Random Question Time! What's your favorite troupe or topic to write on?
Well! For a time I wrote fanfictions, although I never ended up finishing them or finding the motivation to continue them :(
Now I write myself little stories usually either about funny situations I have with my friends or smaller stories I come up with for headcanons I have for specific characters I like.
Random Question Time! Which character(s) like to cook and show their affection through food?
Thank you for the question! I would have to say Erica, from Lost Girls. She has been cooking and baking ever since she was a little girl, and she loves it. She's also really good at it, and she loves to experiment as well as cook her friends favorite foods. She isnt always good at expressing her emotions vocally, so she does it by cooking!
