I really like it when people incorporate historical aspects of the characters into their personalities. Like, Jefferson having social anxiety and things along the lines of that. It makes me really happy, especially since the founding fathers (although terrible, terrible people) had such strange quirks, it kinda makes me smile when I see them used in fanfics.
