And so ends Dragon Kid’s Calbee sponsorship, looks like it’s been replaced with the absolutely mid potato sticks that Yusuke Kitagawa is so fond of (which is funny because Pao-Lin kind of looks like a Chinese Chie Satonaka).

This is my favorite snack food, Calbee's "Jagarico". They are hard potato fries, but when I eat them, they turn into soft potato salad and are very tasty. The problem with soy sauce plus wasabi as a flavor combo, I think, is the phantom sushi paradox. There is no fish, just potato, but you expect to taste fish and so you do. Secret, invisible, imperceptible fish, which your brain can only interpret as the aftertaste of fish. It gives your whole evening the undertaste of pennies. This did not work for me.
