After accidentally shoving Jaemin in the coffee shop, you immediately froze and ran out the glass doors. Embarrasemnent took over your whole body as you noticed that Renjun had seen everything from a table off to the side and was smirking as you left the building.
However, to your surpise you turned as you heard your name being yelled from the shop only to see Jaemin walking towards you.
"I'm sorry for pushing you..."
"It's alright," Jaemin laughed I mean I have my jacket to cover up the stain too so it's no big deal."
Why did he have to be so forgiving?
"You called someone an asshole when you pushed me though... has someone been bothering you?"
Why did he have to be so caring?
"Uh, (Y/n)?"
"Huh?" Your eyes widened as you realized you had been staring at the boy for minutes. "Um, no it was just... Renjun put hair dye in my shampoo as a 'joke' but it just made me mad. So one thing lead to another and I thought you were him which-"
"-is why you shoved me in the cafe? Right?" Jaemin laughed as he finished your sentence for you.
You let out an airy laugh, more nervous than you thought you'd be.
"Well, if it's worth anything I actually think the colours really nice on you. For a second I didn't even notice your hair was dark blue."
Dammit Jaemin! WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE SO CHARMING?
"I'm sorry about your shirt by the way... I didn't realize you were already holding a drink when I came up to you since you were waiting in line," you quickly apologized.
Jaemin looked at his stained white shirt, "yeah I got one fir myself first but then my friend Chenle called and said he wanted one too."
You nodded slowly as silence overtook the both of you. Your mind was racing as your cheeks had been red the entire time you spoke to him. What were you meant to say to him? Was he getting bored? What did he come to see you for?
"By the way... I was going to the dry cleaners to get my shirt cleaned before my mom sees The stain and kills me. Do you wanna come?"
Your eyes widened as you listened to his words. The Na Jaemin, someone you had never had a conversation with prior to this day and someone you've had a crush on for years wanted you to come with him to the dry cleaners?
"I'll pay for it!"
"The shirt is probably gonna cost 10 cents to clean, (Y/n)..." he laughed until he took your wrist and walked with you down the street.
"It's probably not the best place for a first date but maybe we can have an official one next week."
"A DATE?"
