After what felt like hours, the vampire finally had enough and had stopped chasing him, instead moving to sit on a frost covered bench with a childish huff. “You win this time, Frost.” She grumbled under her breath, once again finding no use in trying to yell after him. Something flickered into her sight, just out the corner of her eye, the familiar blend of pink and purple wool danced in the wind before she found it nestled around her neck and her hair once again contained within the black woollen beanie situated on her head. Her gaze rose up to the smirking male in front of her, staff resting on the back of his neck as his arms draped lazily off it. “Y’know, this wouldn’t’ve lasted nearly as long had you’ve just admitted that I won.” He pointed out easily, expression suggesting that such a thing should be obvious to the pixie-like woman. Her gaze simply narrowed, nose wrinkling up as her lips pulled into a pout, “Well maybe next time you shouldn’t take my stuff.” She replied haughtily, moving her arms to cross tightly over her chest. Jack gave a chuckle and swung his staff off his shoulders, leaning forward to poke the vampire’s still scrunched up nose. “C’mon, shorty, it was all in good fun.” He shrugged, nudging his foot against her jean-clad shin, causing the girl to stifle a grin. Although she soon let up and gave into the growing smile, eyes rolling as she jumped up. “I bet you ten bucks you can’t hit me with a snowball.” She challenged quickly, eyebrows raising as she moved herself away from the bench. At her words, the male snorted to himself and allowed a snowball to all but appear in his hand before pulling his arm back, “That’s so sweet of you, donating ten dollars to your good pal Jack.” He almost cooed the words, a smug grin painting his features. Alice blinked once before giving one loud laugh, turning on her heels and running off through the deepening snow. “You’ll never get me, snow boy!” She called back to the still motionless male and that just so happened to be the last words she managed before she was all but ambushed by snowballs.
