I'll be honest. As a fan of Roommates from the beginning regardless of the ratings, I was utterly disappointed that the first season had such a short run.  I wasn't sure of newcomers or replacements because to me, the season one cast was already a family and a part of my daily world. I didn't want anyone of them to leave. Especially Park Bom, seeing that I've been a blackjack stan since 2ne1's debut and a YG stan for even longer (Jinusean's active days).  I grew to love everyone of them and it seemed as though after Park Bom's departure, the possibility of the others' time to stay in the  household started looking questionable as well. Then Bam! After only 20 episodes, season 2 was in the making and I was left struggling with, "I don't want to let them go just yet...they didn't have enough time to be roommates!"

 Lol.

Did I mention that the only ship that seemed possible at that time was the DongWook/Bom ship that I shipped passionately? Too bad for me, the ship didn't sink (trust me, the sparks were there and all over the place)...it just never had the chance to sail. 

Well, I stated to myself that I'd most likely not be watching Season Two. Not that I had anything against the newcomers...chemistry to me just couldn't be felt on reports so the household chemistry was just 'questionable' to me. 

(Yes. I listen to Girl's Generation, Kara, AfterSchool and many others. K-pop is addictive no matter how I spin it. I make it a personal habit not to hate on any of the girl groups, though I have a tendency to be tunnel visioned and just focus on my favorite, their work and their agency. No shit talk. No fuss, no muss. Ya'll get where I'm coming from? I don't do hatin' and fandom extremes. Too old to have all that junk in my trunk).

Anyways, season two comes swaggin' in like Jackson Wang and Joon Hyung Park. I tried to keep my distance but at the last minute curiosity obviously "killed the cat", cause damn I was sucked in like a dang hoover vacuum when I clicked play. I mean who hasn't fangirled over the likes of G.O.D. in times past? But, nope I had no idea who Got7 was.

(Let's just say I didn't keep up to date with the "Winner Contest". Hey, you win some, you lose some. I'm a busy girl). 

And I was hoping old members would make unexpected visitations. (Yes! Got it from Gayeon already~!) To make a long story short, Season One appealed to my more family oriented and conservative side which had it's moments of tears as well as laughter and thoughtfulness. Season two, oh my gosh....Fun! Fun! Fun! Party errday and errnight! I mean SHIPS ARE SAILING ALL BY THEMSELVES!!! Hahahaha.  Chhhh-eah!

During the first eppie: 

I did think that Jackson was scared of Nana because he had a sort of crush on her, which would have been cute....if Youngji hadn't come along by the end of the eppie which had me re-evaluating. 

Similarly, I did think that KangJun and Youngji appeared to be a good looking pair, side by side but the feels I got when Jackson came back from his schedule and he and Youngji greeted each other...I felt the feeling of expectation and a sort of anticipation...what sort of expectation and anticipation since we are only in the forth eppie? I've no clue but so far, I've not been disappointed. I feel as if there's a lot of factors to this building friendship that aren't being shown and I hope it will change in the future. 

i.e. Opposites finding things in common and then forming a friendship where they can lean one and support one another. I'll be anticipating the day when Jackson comes to the house after a long tiring schedule in hopes of seeing and speaking or playing a round of one on one basketball with Youngji or perhaps Jackson can teach Youngji one of Got7's dances!!  Girl is totally teachable and a fast learner/hard worker.<3
