There aren’t many people that Rowan wants to be around right now. With Andy’s blood still splattered on her clothes, and the fact that she herself had killed someone only twelve hours earlier still weighing down on her, she’s got little patience for people. But she needs to get out of that dorm room for a minute, with Andy having fallen asleep again and so she steps out into the main area of the club house. Initially, she thinks about turning right back around when she sees the same prospects she already yelled at earlier in the night occupying the space, but then her eyes fall on Jackson sitting at the bar and she changes her mind, heading there instead. His presence isn’t entirely surprising. Jackson may not be the most emotionally open person out there, but he has always been there when Rowan and Andy have needed him. Memories of him meeting her at the police station the night of her husband’s arrest wash over her momentarily, but she runs a hand through her hair, shaking her head to rid herself of them as she slides onto the open bar stool next to him. “Some fucking night, huh?”
