So I modified my minibike today...
And it's SCARY. After I installed a jackshaft kit, I halved the gear ratio, halved my top speed, and doubled my acceleration. I now have to lean forward during most accelerations, and think twice before stepping on the throttle. I tested it up a pretty steep hill on my lawn (made of grass, so tire-spinning is pretty hard). leaning forward, The rear tire spins while I hold on for dear life. Keep in mind this happens in the grass where the deep knobs on the tires can dig in and grab easily. They grab, but not good enough. Hopefully nothing will break, otherwise An off-roading day will turn out well with this thing. I'm pretty concerned for the life of my rear sprocket and rim, I'm not sure how much of this it can handle... O_o
